If you are a donor and someone who wants to help others in Brown County, the Philanthropists’ Almanac is a resource available at no cost to you online. The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation has published the 2013-2014 Philanthropist’s Almanac, a handy reference guide for those interested in the charitable activities of our community.

As the population of those 60 and older grows by 10,000 each day in this country, the needs for older adults and their caregivers are on the rise. In response to this need, GGBCF completed its first grant cycle centered on the older adult population and is awarding $44,500 to non-profit programs that support wellness for those over 60, services for their caregivers, and community engagement of older adults.

The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay, a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, will host its 7th Annual “Girlfriends” event on Wednesday, April 24 at the Meyer Theatre. This year’s event will feature Green Bay’s own Manditori.

GGBCF is accepting scholarship applications from students who reside in our community. Last year, the Community Foundation awarded nearly $200,000 scholarships to students in Northeast Wisconsin.
