The 2013 Non-Profit & the Economy Report reports that overall, non-profits are financially healthier than the previous several years. They have reported that they are not as financially vulnerable as in previous years; there has been a large increase in the amount of non-profits who have hired additional staff in the past year; and many non-profits are increasing services to meet demand and have shorter waiting lists than the previous year.
